ER Fitness is becoming 4K Fit! Meet new owners, Brad & Kareen!Read Their Message

Does body size or fitness level matter?

Not at all! We have members of all sizes and fitness levels here at 4K Fit. You can always modify any workout we do and make it work for your body. Whether you’re a buff gym pro or an exercise newbie, or have weight or ailment issues, we can make something work for you.

How old is too old?

No such thing! We have members in their 20s all the way up to their 70s, yes 70s! You’re never too young or old to make fitness work for you. Our average member age is 45 – 50.

Is this just a women’s fitness group?

Nope! We do seem to have a majority of women fitness members, but men are more than welcome. We have a handful of male members that would love to have some more testosterone in the building!

Can we use the facility during non class times?

Sorry, we are a class based fitness studio only. Small group training is our specialty so we can always make sure you are motivated and using correct form. Classes make sticking to your fitness goals easier. We always keep each other going!

How much does it cost?

Our group fitness classes are $10 per class, or $220 for unlimited classes in a 12 week session. We have a split payment option for the 12 week membership fee. We will also prorate the payment if you come in the middle of a 12 week session.

To view pricing for our other services, go to the Personal Training page and the Myofascial Release and Trigger Point Therapy page.

Are all the classes the same routine?

No. We mix it up all the time! Most fitness classes involve a combo of cardio, strength, and functional training. We implement these training protocols using different equipment and movements. You’ll never get bored or have to worry about plateauing.

Our yoga class often has similar moves and poses, but in different sequences or timing. We sometimes focus more on stretches for certain parts of the body, or what our members are needing in a yoga practice.

I’m nervous. Will I be judged?

Never! We are a very supportive group of people and accept new members with open arms. You will find every age, size, and fitness level here. We cheer each other on and work towards helping each other in any way possible.

What if I don’t know how to use all of the equipment?

You don’t need to worry. During class, we will make sure you know how to use the equipment. We make it a priority to watch new members, learn their body mechanics, and make sure they’re using correct form. That’s one of the things that makes small group fitness classes so perfect!

How intensive is the intensive training Saturday class?

The Saturday class is when we pull out the heavier weights and larger equipment. It can be pretty intense for new members or people not familiar with fitness. We highly suggest coming to some other classes first, so we can make sure you’re ready for a Saturday class.

How do I find you?

We are located just north of downtown Lexington, Michigan. The studio is in a building across from the Lexington village water tower. It has a green roof and the entrance is on the south (left) side, closer to the post office and downtown Lexington. You can park right along the south side of the building.

I still have questions. What should I do?

You can either fill out our contact form, or call Brad Kegebein at (248) 417-8919. We also have some more information on our First Timers page and throughout the rest of the website. If you have any doubts, just come on in and experience it for yourself! You’ll have nothing to lose, but everything to gain!
